The Macedonian Stock Exchange has prepared the second Annual Report for compliance of the listed companies with the Corporate Governance Code.

Companies, required to report on compliance with the Code according to the Listing Rules, reported by answering the appropriate questionnaires which describe the corporate practices of each company during the year 2023. The analysis of the MSE in their answers presented that the average rate of compliance of the corporate management of companies with the Code is 79%.

This report provides a comparative view of listed companies' compliance data for 2022 and 2023. Comparative data shows that the average quantitative percentage of compliance with the Code in 2023, compared to 2022, increased by 3%.

The data on the level of compliance of the companies with the Code in this Report refer collectively to all listed companies and are based on factual information on the compliance of the companies with the Code, without entering into an assessment of the quality of the reporting practices. The report is based on the assessment that the companies themselves stated about their compliance with the specific sections and provisions of the Code.
